9/20/2023 0 Comments Pc hdmi no signal on tv![]() ![]() Sometimes when shutting down it displays a green screen. When booting it sometimes works normally and other times doesn't recognize it. After upgrading to Monterey 12.3 the computer no longer consistently recognizes the external monitor. I use a high-quality USBC to DisplayPort cable. I truly hope Apple can take these issues seriously and present the solution ASAP.Įxternal monitor not recognized Monterey 12.3 I have an intel mac mini 2018 that I have been connecting to a 4k monitor since I purchased it. Last thing to point out, nowadays you rarely find any PCs would have above issues, even the cheapest one. Sorry I know it might not be a right place to complaint, but I am just too disappointed after spending a lot more money on the gear you think it would work better than the normal PC you can normally get with much lower price. Seriously doubt the Apple quality because all the issues seems to be the most fundamental sruff, Wifi, USB3.0 ports, bluetooth and HDMI. Not sure whether or not Apple techs did try all the features and basic functions before the release. It's been over eight months since it's released but the problems are still unsolved. So far 2018 Mac mini looks like a total disaster. and it's been giving me a lot of troubles including the fatal USB3.0 port issues that almost all 2018 Mac mini users have (the two USB3.0 ports just don't function well and interfere the wifi and the bluetooth). Since I just got my Mac mini few days ago, I am seriously thinking about the return or change a new one if the issue can't be fixed. ![]() Surprisingly, this problem was never solved and I can't believe it is even left to the newest late-2018 version Mac mini, which is very disappointing and unacceptable. I have seen a lot of guys in the communities have the similar problem with older version Mac minis, here is the forum It's a temporary solution, but definitely unacceptable and abnormal. Although this works, certainly it's very annoying to do this when every time the mini reboots.īut I do notice something, if I turn the monitor power off before the mini reboots and keep the power off until I "feel" the mini has entered the desktop, then turn the power on, the display does work normally, that mens I should only turn the monitor on until I blindly "feel" the restart process has been done and the mini has enter the desktop. ![]() Unplug the HDMI and plug it in again, the display comes back. Lost the HDMI signal immediately while the white progress bar under the apple logo runs about half level. Unfortunately, same problem as many other guys in the communities, I am hooking the monitor to the mini through the HDMI port. Just bought the newest Mac mini (late 2018) and received it four days ago. ![]()
